Prepare to be locked in a room with 9 other people and 1 zombie that is chained to the wall! Hidden in the room is a key that will unlock the door to your survival. To find the key you must locate numerous clues and solve riddles.


Each session takes 10 people at one time, so, like a real zombie apocalypse, you’ll have to work with strangers to survive. Or hide behind them to save yourself from the zombie! The choice is yours. Can you work together to save yourselves and humanity, or will you put yourself before the group and civilization as a whole?


Every five minutes the hungry zombie’s chain will be released another foot. Within an hour, the zombie will be able to reach you. You have 60 minutes to the find clues, solve the puzzles, unlock the door and escape the room without getting eaten!

Trapped in a Room with a Zombie runs open sessions Monday to Sundays for ten players. As this immersive experience is designed for ten players, if you have a smaller group, you may find yourself working with other players to escape. But, remember, you're a team all working for the same goal. If you would like to have a session privately to yourself, please be aware you need to book all ten spaces.


The minimum number of players is 2. If you have a smaller group than this, you can book onto an existing session with other players without having to meet he minimum number of players. If a session has less than 2 players, the experience may be cancelled. We will contact you to rearrange the date or organise a refund for you. 

For a private booking, you must book all ten spaces. If you are booking a private session and wish to book outside the available times, contact us directly by email or on 0330 333 8085 to organise this with us.

FAQs

Will I really get eaten if I don’t escape?

Cannibalism has been outlawed since 1804, so the zombie is not legally permitted to eat you.

What happens if the zombie touches me?

Don’t get touched by the crawling zombie! If you get touched by the crawling zombie, you will be required to sit and no longer will be permitted to search for clues, but you can still participate verbally. The zombie is chained to a wall and may not roam freely, but the chain is released another foot every five minutes so you better be quick at putting together the clues, solving the riddles and finding the key that will set you free, otherwise you will be zombie bait.

How many people are in the room at once?

The game is designed to allow up to 10 people in the room at once. You may be in a game with other people you do not know. The entire group is on the same team working together to escape and not get eaten. For a private session, you must purchase the full 10 tickets.

How long is the experience?

This depends on how much smarter you are than a zombie! If you do not find all the clues and solve the puzzles that unlock the door within 60 minutes, you will be eaten by a zombie and we will have to remove your body from the room. Allow one and half hours for the entire performance for instruction time and a solution explanation.

What should I bring with me?

Your inner Sherlock Holmes and all the sleuthing skills you can muster! The answers to the clues, riddles and puzzles are all in the room. You will be using your ability to look for clues, figure out logic, communicate with the other performers and apply deductive reasoning to escape. Don’t give up! Keep searching for clues. You are going to have to work fast!

Can I participate if I am pregnant?

WE DO NOT RECOMMEND this show for women who are pregnant, or children under the age of 8 years old. INFANTS will not be allowed into the room, zombies don’t like baby food.

How old do you have to be?

You must be 14 years or older to participate. Participants under 18 years of old need a parent or guardian with them to participate.

The game may be customised for groups younger than 14 but these must be a private session and we must be informed ahead of time to organise age appropriate clues.

Are mobile phones permitted?

Mobile phones are not allowed to be used in the room. The use of electronic devices or any outside tools are strictly prohibited and you will immediately be removed from the show if you attempt to use them.

What happens if I arrive late?

The door to the room closes exactly at the time you signed up for. Please arrive 30 minutes early to make sure you are there before the room is locked. You will not be permitted into the room if you are late. There are no refunds for late arrivals.

Can I schedule a private show for just our group?

To reserve an entire show for your group, you need to purchase all 10 tickets at once. Please contact us if there are no show times available with 10 tickets and we will create a special show time for you.

What's your cancellation policy?

We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.

Terms and Conditions - Activity Passport, Experiences and Standard Vouchers

Geronigo is the Company behind this successful brand. The Company issues Activity Passport, Experiences and Standard Vouchers to its customers via its website, or over the telephone. Geronigo have the biggest activity network in the the UK.

1. Prices & Payments

The prices of specific Experiences are held for the 12 months validity. Passports and Standard Vouchers are non-specific and are redeemed at face value against the retail price at the time of redemption. We accept all major credit and debit cards. We also accept payment by cheque - made payable to: Geronigo. Post to: Geronigo, 15th Floor (North), Arena Point, Merrion Way, Leeds, LS2 8PA. Please state (1) what you wish to purchase - a Passport, Specific Experience or Standard Voucher; (2)How much you wish to spend; (3) Your name and address; (4) Your telephone number and email address.

2. Validity

Adventure Card vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of issue (or 12 months for 25th December for Christmas Vouchers).

3. Extending the Validity Period

A Passport, Experience or Standard Voucher will be deemed to be invalid and will not be eligible for redemption if it is out of date (the validity date is clearly stated). Extension are available, providing they are still valid when contact is made with Geronigo. If the customer or recipient is unable to use the Passport, Experience or Standard Voucher before the expiry date, then they can extend the validity date by calling 0800 876 0222 and speaking to one of our sales representatives. There is a small admin charge of GBP6.99 for a one month extension. Extensions can only be made 3 times for any one Passport, Experience or Standard Voucher. We do not issue a new Passport, Experience or Standard Voucher for extensions. If this is requested, further costs will be incurred. Free gifts or promotional products are not eligible for extensions.

4. Booking

Booking is subject to availability and must be made through Geronigo only and not at the activity venues. We will happily redeem your Passport, Experience or Standard Voucher against any package featured on our site up to its full value, regardless of any specific experience named. Additional participants can take part, but they will be charged at the retail price as detailed on our website at the time of booking. Once a booking is made, booking terms and conditions then apply as detailed on our main website www.

5. Activity Restrictions

All activities have restrictions of some sort, they can relate to age, height, health, and weight. These are in the best interests of participants. Visit www. and check out your preferred activity and any restrictions that are in place. If you still have any concerns, give us a call.

6.Despatch & Delivery

All Passports, Experiences and Vouchers will be despatched in accordance with your chosen delivery selection. We cannot be held liable for any loss suffered as a result of mail being delayed, and we accept no responsibility for lost or stolen Passports, Experiences or Standard Vouchers. Please keep them in a safe place and protect them as you would cash. Duplicates can be issued, but this will incur an admin charge and any additional postage costs. Stated postage is for up to 3 Standard Vouchers per envelope posted to the same address. Each address is treated as a separate delivery and will incur a separate postage charge. Gift wrapping incurs an individual cost per Passport, Experience or Standard Voucher for the wrapping and postage.

7. Refunds

You have the right to return your unused Passport, Standard Voucher, or Experience within 7 days of our despatch date for a full refund. All refunds made after 7 days and within 28 days of receipt will incur a GBP20 or 20% administration charge (whichever is greater). All refunds will be made to the person made the purchase and the monies will be refunded directly to that credit / debit card. All refunds are processed at month-end and take between 5 and 10 working days to show in the purchaser's account. To request a refund you must return your Passport, Experience or Standard Voucher by recorded delivery to: Geronigo, 15th Floor (North), Arena Point, Merrion Way, Leeds, LS2 8PA, together with a covering letter detailing the reason for your refund request. Free gifts or promotional products are not eligible for refunds.

8. Activity Pictures and Descriptions

Whilst every effort is made to ensure the descriptions and pictures used are a true representation of the activities offered, these do not form part of the contract. Pictures used are always representative of the activity and not venue specific.

9. Cash / Credit Value

Our Passports and Standard Vouchers do not have any cash or credit value other than as payment or part-payment towards an activity as detailed on our websites. Should the value of you Passport, Experience or Standard Voucher exceed that of the activity chosen, no cash refund or credit is given against the balance. Should they be insufficient to cover an activity because of a price increase, or change of activity choice, the bearer will be expected to pay any outstanding balance before the booking can be made.

10. Office of Fair Trading and Trading Standards

This company complies with regulations and guidelines as laid down by the Office of Fair Trading and Trading Standards for the service we offer. We welcome any inspection of our processes in this regard.

11. Data Protection

This Company complies with the principles of the Data Protection Act 1998 and is registered. 13. Our Terms

All purchases and bookings will be subject to these same terms and conditions without exception. All customers will have deemed to have made themselves aware of these Terms & Conditions and will have accepted them in their entirety and without exception as part of their dealings with us. No verbal or other communication overrides these terms and conditions in any respect whatsoever.

14. Severability

All of the provisions, clauses and paragraphs in these Terms and Conditions should be read and construed independently of each other. If any provision, clause or paragraph in these Terms of Business is held to be invalid or unenforceable such provision, clause or paragraph will be struck out and the remaining provisions, clauses and paragraphs will remain in force.

15. Statutory

Your statutory rights are not affected.

16. Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are subject to the laws of England, Scotland and Wales and you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the courts in the nearest area in which you are domiciled.

17. Force Majeure

This Company will not be liable for any delay or failure to carry out any of its rights, duties and responsibilities under these Terms and Conditions if the delay or failure is caused by circumstances outside of the control of This Company, including, but not limited to actions by others, acts of god, war, civil disorder or industrial dispute.

18. Our Rights

Failure by this Company to enforce any of its rights under these Terms of Business is not to be regarded as a waiver of those rights unless the waiver is confirmed in writing. If this Company decides to waive any of its rights under these Terms of Business, this will not inhibit this Company from enforcing those rights at any or all times in the future.

19. Booking Agent

We are a booking agency for the activity providers and activity venues featured on our websites, therefore we do not physically deliver the activities provided. All issues and claims in connection with the performance and delivery of an activity must therefore be directed at the activity provider. In this instance, this company will provide full information to assist in any resolution.
